2012 Continuing Education for Coaches
Baseball is a complex and humbling game – just when we think we seen and done everything, something comes along to show us something new and unexpected. As an organization, we believe that continuing education for our coaches is essential to the ongoing success of MAA. We know that as a coach at this level, you spend great deal of time studying the game and are dedicated to learning how to further develop your players and teams and for that we are extremely grateful.
To assist you with your efforts, MAA Baseball has assembled a wide variety of opportunities for coaches to participate in expanding their knowledge and skills. Each of these sessions will provide excellent learning opportunities for all of us. As some of you have been to the Hilltoppers clinics or clinics with Coach Pane in the past, we've added a new option this year, with Millard North Varsity Head Coach Dave Cork.
Each of these sessions is specifically structured to help the tenured or novice coach communicate and teach the essential baseball skills to our youth players. The goal of these sessions is not to just provide skills, drills, and techniques, but to also explain how to implement them and why they matter.
Each of these sessions is free to any MAA Head or Assistant coach.
