2012 Tryout Dates and Times
Thes tryouts for the 2012 MABL league have been completed. Players selected for one of our MABL teams will be informed by the coach for that team and given instructions about registering for the season.
MABL (Metro Area Baseball League) is a league comprised of teams from 9-12 athletic associations across the greater Omaha area for players 15 - 18 years old.
MABL was created for high school aged players who are not participating on High School or Legion baseball teams, but have a desire to continue to play the game.
There are traditionally three divisions of play within MABL:
- 15/16 Competitive
- 17/18 Competitive
MAA participates with one team in each division of play offered by MABL. Teams are created on an annual basis as players take part in open tryouts. Each team carries between 11-14 players for the season.
Teams will play "home and home" series with teams within the league, meaning games will be played both at MAA fields as well as at locations across the metro area. The season ends with a state tournament.
