Starting in 2009 Millard Area Runza restaurants teamed with MAA to recognize one special player each week throughout the season.

Winners are selected each week from nominations that are received from coaches, players, parents and fans online at www.millardathletics.com and at the Millard Runza just across Q Street from Andersen fields.

The Runza Player of the Week is a quality individual and someone who exemplifies what it means to be a MAA Baseball player.  This is an athlete who at all times, both on and off the field, is a great player, teammate, friend and representative of MAA Baseball.
